EUMETSAT is organising a Future Focus – Wildfires user workshop at the Darmstadtium in Darmstadt, Germany, from 26 to 28 November 2024. The event will address the current status and advances in monitoring wildfires from space, the role of satellite data in emission estimates and the impact of fires on the wider ecosystems and climate.

The Registration is now open, with deadline on 31 October 2024. Participants requesting  financial support must register by 1 June 2024.
