Webinar series to prepare for the 8th Mediterranean Forest Week

What are the key issues for research, policy and practice that the 8th Mediterranean Forest Week (8MFW) will address? In the upcoming weeks, you have the chance to explore them and  be ahead of the gam thanks of a series of webinars. Key themes will touch upon forest adaptation, biodiversity, wildfires prevention in sustainable and resilient Mediterranean forests. The discussion arising from the webinars will further feed the 8MFW plenary sessions and the content of the presented posters, as well as the High-Level Segment on day 4 of the conference.

In particular, FIRE-RES is co-organising the Session 4: Wildfire Prevention and Post-Fire Restoration in the Mediterranean Region, to be preceded by Preparatory Webinar about fire-resilient territories. Several experts from FIRE-RES consortium will animate the discussion focusing on key aspects of wildfire management. The programme is as follows:
