This themes explores innovative solutions that improve monitoring of forests, of postfire condition, and of infrastructure and equipment for response. In the following list you can explore the three challenges.
5.1 Infrastructure and firefighting asset monitoring and condition assessment
Seeking to strengthen preparedness for EWE by enabling the constant monitoring, assessment and update of the current conditions of all firefighting assets.
5.2 Integrated, large-scale coverage forest monitoring
Searching for the integration of forest monitoring solutions enabling a large-scale area coverage and enabling the integration of new and legacy systems across stakeholders for cohesive monitoring of forest areas.
5.3 Post-fire conditions monitoring and assessment
Looking for solutions for the assessment of post-fire conditions in the field for prevention of further damages as well as the assessment of fire causes and consequences to inform recovery efforts and funding initiatives.
