The FIRE-RES Innovation Day Series is a unique initiative designed to promote integrated wildfire management by uniting stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. These events aim to mitigate wildfire risks to landscapes and communities through a combination of technical, technological, social, and ecological solutions. They will address a range of themes, from wildfire preparedness and response to governance, from financing tools to social interventions.

The Innovation Days are conceived as intensive one-day networking and partnership-building events. They feature keynote speeches, local innovation success stories, high-impact solution pitches, and networking exercises. After the success of the inaugural event in Penafiel, Portugal, and the April edition in Kazanak, Bulgaria, the last appointment will be on 1 July 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.

The FIRE-RES Innovation Day Series aims to encourage stakeholders to adopt new ideas and technologies for mitigating wildfire risks, fostering collaboration among wildfire management actors to ensure a comprehensive approach. Additionally, it seeks to engage young entrepreneurs, researchers, and professionals to bring fresh perspectives and expertise to the field. You can expect:
